This shop's own returns policy gives you 15 days from purchase to change your mind, on every product it sells. Send it back in its original packaging with proof of purchase and we refund the price you paid for the goods, processed within 24 to 48 hours of the return arriving. You cover the cost of returning it unless the item is faulty.
If it arrives faulty, damaged or not as described, we put it right at no cost to you: a repair, a replacement or a refund, and we pay the return shipping. Nothing in that affects your rights under United States federal or state law.
Hand wash in cool water and never machine wash: the mesh catches on zips and buckles and a single pull ruins a panel. Dry it fully before it goes back in the sack, and keep the ground pegs in their own pocket so they cannot rub the netting.

About this product
A no-see-um bug net that fits most 11 foot hammocks, with a bathtub floor.
144 x 72 inetres of fine nylon netting with spreader bars, a J-zipper with reflective markers, four ground pegs and a stuff sack. It is the piece you add to a hammock you already own.
Deluxe no-see-um nylon netting, which is the grade that stops midges and sandflies rather than only mosquitoes.
It measures 144 x 72 inches (144 x 72 in) with a 82 x 22 inch (2 x 0.6 m) water-resistant bathtub bottom.
Spreader bars hold the mesh off you, so there is headroom and elbow room instead of netting resting on your face.
The J-zipper carries reflective markers, which is a small thing until you are looking for the zip at 2am.
Fits most 11 foot (3.35 m) hammocks and comes with four ground pegs and a stuff sack. Weight is 2 pounds.
If you already own a hammock you like, this is the cheaper half of turning it into somewhere you can sleep. The net does one job and does it in a way that a draped mosquito net does not: it stays off you.
The mesh grade is what to look at. No-see-um netting has a small enough weave to stop midges and sandflies, which ordinary mosquito mesh lets straight through. On a humid coast in summer that is the difference between a night's sleep and none.
The floor is water resistant and shaped like a shallow bathtub, so splash off the ground and condensation running down the netting do not end up under you.
Setup uses a knotless cord lock system, which means the tension is set by sliding rather than by tying. The spreader bars keep the mesh wide, and the J-zipper opens far enough to get out without wrestling.
It is sized for an 11 foot hammock, which covers most camping hammocks including ours. If yours is unusually long or short, measure before ordering.
Still deciding?
Not sure yet? That is fine.
You can change your mind. This shop's own returns policy gives you 15 days from purchase to send it back in its original packaging with proof of purchase, and we refund the price you paid for the goods.
If it turns up faulty, damaged or not as described, that is on us. We pay the return shipping and you can have a repair, a replacement or your money back, and your rights under United States federal and state law are unaffected. Types of Netting for Hammocks
There are different styles of netting for hammocks, each suited to specific camping needs.
1. Integrated Hammock Bug Net Some hammocks come with built-in insect protection, featuring a zippered mesh enclosure. These are ideal for minimalist campers looking for an all-in-one solution.
2. Separate Hammock Insect Net A standalone net is a versatile option, fitting over any hammock setup. These typically attach to a ridgeline, creating a protective cocoon around you.

How to Set Up a Hammock Bug Net
Proper installation ensures full coverage and maximum comfort. Follow these steps to set up your hammock insect net correctly:
Step 1: Choose the Right Location Set up your hammock in an area with natural wind barriers to reduce mosquito activity. Avoid stagnant water sources, as they attract bugs.
Step 2: Install a Ridgeline If using a separate netting for hammock, attach a ridgeline above your hammock. This will help keep the mesh lifted, preventing it from sagging onto your face and body.
Step 3: Attach the Net Securely Slide or zip the hammock bug net over your hammock. Some models use drawstrings or clips, while others feature full-length zippers for easy entry and exit.
Step 4: Secure the Bottom Opening Ensure the netting is tucked in or sealed at the bottom to prevent insects from sneaking in.
Step 5: Test for Gaps Before settling in, check for any openings or loose areas that insects could enter through. Adjust the tension for a snug fit.
